the legendary shredder.

i'm sorry for your loss... don't worry about us, we'll take care of ourselves :)
just go and settle whatever you have to.

======

come to think of it, life comes and goes doesn't it?
its really very fragile, yet it has to be for people to truly appreciate the gift of it. you don't ever realise how blessed your life is, just by having some certain people in your life. they may seem fairly insignificant but that's because you did not experience losing them. on the other hand i am quite grateful for what i have so far. i only had to experience losing 1 of my family members so far and that's my god grandpa. he died fighting cancer and it was really heart wrenching to see him struggle. day and night my family members would take turns sitting at his hospital bed, watching over his frail body, his mind unconcious.

however, my god grandma said something one night when she was sitting beside him. (he was in a coma)

"just go in peace, we'll take care of the family."

and then his heartbeat was gone...

it seemed that he was only holding on because he was still worried about his family.
what can i say? there my god grandpa was lying on the hospital bed, literally fighting for his life and he was still worried about others.

rewind to 6 months ago, he was still very healthy. in fact, even though kimotherapy had cost him his hair, he could still laugh, smile and joke.
in less than half a year, off he went to heaven.
he's probably looking down upon everyone of us behind those pearly gates.

so let's not take our loved ones for granted anymore, lest we can't hear their voice nor feel their warmth ever again.
sorry that this is such a serious and sad post.
