it was a fairly emotional day for me yesterday, watching the J1s coming back for speech day. i knew some of them that came back and memories started to trigger. but my heart sort of sank watching them being so united and happily taking photos together. i should have been there. well maybe not in speech day but together as a batch. immense regrets filled me and i kept my emotions in check by reading. (although there are really some idiots out there in the blue tag batch whose names i can't reveal here.)

not surprisingly, only one person in my class actually went up to stage to claim a prize and that was sly. the other classes all had at least 5 or 6 going up. so the entire event was rather boring after sly took his award. we had the valedictorian's speech and were released.
we then went back to class as we had oral lessons. it dragged from 12:30 till 2:45 and i stayed back for extra practice till 5 with law and suan hin. pretty glad to say that i didn't have any much problems woooo!
