Okay before i go on ranting about today, let's start with the main point of the day.



See that poster? It's an advertisement for this tution center. And it freaking sucks.
Originally me and basil both paid $280 each for 16 hours of tution. But they suddenly informed us that its gonna be changed to $280 for 12 hours of tution. Like what the hell? Its effectively "eating" up 25% of the tution fees. Do the math and you will get the figures.

I shan't elaborate anymore in case the center decides to sue for whatever shit.

The entire event sort of went like this:

After the lesson, the 3 students that wanted to pull out(basil, me and some st nicks girl) stayed back in the room to "negotiate" with some guy from the center.
The father of the girl was lambasting him throughout the entire time talking about the retardedness of the entire episode. But eventually everything was settled after the tutor intervened. (oh and the tutor is the good guy, not in cahoots with the center)

So it was left with me and basil. We made it very very very clear that we wanted to withdraw from the group. But then that guy just went on and on about how we wanted us to do well in our O's and whatever. Clearly it was a ploy to get us stay on but basil easily countered it with a single sentence.

"so how much are we gonna be refunded?"

And there was this momentarily stunned expression on his face. Guess he didn't expect school boys to be so shrewd and cut to the chase.
Eventually he had to refund us because of consumer rights.
But he said he could only process the cheque after a week or so. But don't worry, he can be ASSURED WE WILL BE HOUNDING HIM FOR THE REFUND EVERYDAY.
That center really pissed me off so much, ruined my mood for today.

Oh and met up with pamela and hweezi for lunch at seoul garden.
